There’s no birds left sitting No rock worth hitting Those songs weren’t worth singing No land worth digging When a voice whispers There’s no looking back And a tyrant christens The sound of a lightning crack Strangers in a stranger land Lost faith in foreign command There’s no love in the country No there’s money on the contrary When a voice whispers There’s no looking back And a tyrant christens The sound of a lightning crack Sun beats down Sirens Howl Tucker’s faces Tin roof town There’s no love on this rock Fraying seams full of rott Bank loan blown out to sea Fading dreams Burnt out trees There’s not much we have to fear I guess I’m lucky I’m right here I’m right here There’s no shame in subsistence I lost faith in the system Blood and soil, blood and piss There nostalgia for a myth When a voice whispers There’s no looking back And a tyrant christens The sound of a lightning crack Sun beats down Sirens Howl Tucker’s faces Tin roof town There’s no love on this rock Fraying seams full of rott Bank loan blown out to sea Fading dreams Burnt out trees There’s not much we have to fear I guess I’m lucky I’m right here I’m right here (I’m right here x16)

Charming indie pop - Karen Leng (Double J)

If you need a minute or two of escapism, look no further than the debut single by Partner Look, which evokes the simple serenity of the seaside - Shaad D'Souza (Paper)

It's really really good - Rachel Short (Triple R)

Definitely created some magic with that first track of theirs - Lee Tran Lam (FBI)

If this is the appetiser then expect a sweet main course - Nathalie Pavlovic (Dianas, Blossom Rot Records) & Snowy (Snowy Band, the Ocean Party)

Somehow they’ve made a weird time signature feel like the most natural thing in the world - perfect pop - Jo Syme (Big Scary, Pieater, Hotel Motel)

The four musical brainiacs that make up Partner Look are telling it like it is and that’s pretty refreshing in this day and age. ‘Geelong’ is pure punk, pure and simple - Emma Russack

- THE VINYL DEPOSIT SCHEME -

I heard a whisper through the Club Seven project in conjunction with the efforts of Program Records Thornbury are super proud to announce what we think might be the world's first ever Vinyl Deposit Scheme. Much like container deposit schemes you may have seen in Europe and most places in Australia, the scheme will see I heard a whisper reimburse purchasers $1 for their used vinyl when they return it to Program Records Thornbury. The records will be recycled into new records, thus reducing the amount of new vinyl needed to be created and also reducing the the amount of vinyl that is sent to landfill.
